The Dark Knight

WOOHOO!!

another movie reviewed after a month!

THIS TIME THE DARK KNIGHT!(not to be confuse with the 1998 undeveloped batman film)

a sequel to the 2005 movie "Batman Begins" not to be confuse with the 1989 Batman.
seriously i would have been awaiting for this film, i was wondering when the first film "Batman Begins" came out, i was wondering when will Joke appear in this new era of batman films. And finally it came out in "The Dark Knight" DAMN!.. even twoface made his appearance in dark knight

Well The Dark Knight i would say not really a continuous storyline with "Batman Begins" but it some how connects a part of it. A audience rating of PG, abit of violent but not as much fighting as the first film

The Dark Knight stars Aron Eckhart as Harvey Dent(and later in the movie twoface) who is the verge to convert Gotham City to a crimeless city and be regarded as Gotham City's true Hero, but who was being used by the Joker starring Heath Ledger to control the city and later kill him off so that Joker can take over Gotham and put a "smile on everyone's face" but ofcourse not forgetting our favorite mysterious crime fighter, Batman starring Christian Bale who was literally being bitten by dogs twice.. and i do mean it..

anyway don't get confuse with the Batman Film of the 2000 era and the batman film of the 90s era.. reason being the storyline had been changed abit. Like how Harvey Dent became twoface, in the comics and 90s film Harvey was being squirted with acid onto the face but in this film Harvey's face was being burnt and it was a damn terrible. not really for the faint hearted..

a film with much understanding of how joker got his hands on Gotham from another point of telling, and its much darker and mysterious. a film rating of 8/10.. a must watch for all batman and dc comic fans.. its much darker side of batman i would say. with the appearance of three villains, Joker, Twoface and Scarecrow.

But then again it was much of laugh at some parts of the film, like the laugh of the joker was damn hell of a laugh, and the cold jokes of joker were even much more funnier..

o man and i thought there is gonna be a third installment to the film but in the end it didn't had any conclusions DAMN!.. now its another mind bobbling wait for the next installment.. THERE'S STILL MR FREEZE, PENGUIN, POSION IVY NOT OUT YET!!!!

can't wait..!

**this review is dedicated to Heath Ledger.. God Bless and Rest in Peace

You don't mess with the Zohan

You sure should not mess with this guy..

!
"You Don't Mess with the Zohan", another of Adam Sandler comedic films but sad this time there isn't Rob Schneider. I mean in any of Adam's film there is bound to have Rob and he would go " You can do ittttt" whenever he appears like for example in "The Longest Yard"(2005 not to be confuse with the 1974 film) but none the less the film was i would say kind of crapy.. but don't let the word fool you..

"You Don't Mess with the Zohan" a audience rating of M18 i recommend, reason being of his big "twincy" (thats what they call it in the movie) and many scene of seducing and male stripping alike scene.. EEE... that gives me the chills!!. but fear not!. there is not sex scene or naked scene is only Adam Sandler acting as a male stripper, NO KID!

"You Don't Mess with the Zohan" stars Adam Sandles as Zohan, whose current job is a counter terrorist in Isreal who has a dream to cut and style hair in USA, but with his parents not agreeing and his arch pelestinian nermisis, Phantom Hakbarah(John Turturro) who is always after him for more fights, Zohan finally made up his mind and finally during his fight with Phantom, he pretended to be killed by Phantom and secretly swam off to the States(which was damn impossible). Now in the States, he must now find a way to acheive his dream and the love of his life Dhalia Hakbarah(Emmanuelle Chriqui) with the many outcomes and inbetweens of being frame as terrorist can he and his gang of Middle Eastern friends ever find justice in America??

It was a damn ridiculous film but i would say its a fine ridiculous film especially with Adam Sandler, it would be better if Rob Schneider could had guest star in it.

a movie star rating of 6/10.. yup.. average scale i would say. though it was terribly funny and comical in a way, with the many ridiculous way of killing or paralyzing a man, politic jokes like having sex with Hililary Cinton and Obama(man i mean it no kid its all in the filn). Its a movie that i recommend you not to watch in the cinemas, yup don't waste you money on this, its not really worth it, its more worth it if you were to rent it on DVD and have your friends over to catch it where you guys will enjoy the many laugh that the show brings..

The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian

a children's fantasy
The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian, a prequel to the movie "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". A very well made film, could be compared to the "Lord of The Rings" series I would say or maybe even "Harry Potter". Seriously though, there have been lots of fantasy stories being made in film like Narnia, Harry Potter and even The Golden Compass. O man i can't wait for the sequel to the Golden Compass. THE SUSPENDS!!

"The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian", as where we last left off from "The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe",that 1300 years had passed in Narnia and Telmarines of Talma are threathening the lives of Narnians. That us where the four Pevensie children, Peter(William Moseley), Susan(Anna Popplewell), Edmund(Skandar Keynes) and Lucy(Georgie Henley) are now being summoned back to Narnia for a reason, the reason is to aid Prince Caspian(Ben Barnes) and to save Narnia from the evil hands of King Miraz(Sergio Castellitto), uncle of Prince Caspian. As King Miraz wants take over the world of Narnia and rid of all Narnians. With Prince Caspian's escape and the summoning of the four children together with all the Narnians and Aslan(Liam Neeson), they now must stand together and bring the freedom and peace between the Narnians and the Telmarines.

"Prince Caspian" isn't some how related to "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". Well maybe only the starting and the chronological timelines, the rest its some how on its own.
A movie star rating of 9.5/10. YUP!.. I would say its best of its best. And it can be improve even better, for example maybe the storyline could have lenghten abit as the story lines were told kind of fast in a storybook manner.

its a recommanded to watch, and if you don't like me. you can tell it to me right in face, yup no kid. seriously I purely recommand you this movie, even though you had never watched the first sequel before, as i never did.

Well do watch out for the latest installment of The Chronicles of Narnia : The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

till then..

Harold and Kumar : Escape from Guantanamo Bay

i have been all year round waiting for this movie and finally caught it and reviewed it

O YES!
The sequel to the first movie "Harold and Kumar goes to White Castle" this two good buddies that are of the america's lowest percentage of resident, don't get me wrong here not trying to be a racist or what. But its what that makes it funny. An indian and a korean trying get a way of living in america end up got messed up. A rating of M18 due to mild nudity and its kind of coarse in language.

Harold(John Cho) and Kumar(Kal Penn), where we last left off was that they finally got to White's Castle to finally enjoy the burgers there which they got up all night driving and getting into trouble like got in jailed or bullied and even "raped". Getting back home, Harold realize that Maria was gonna fly off to Amsterdam.

This time they are now on the flight to Amsterdam to find Harold's lover,Maria(Paula Garcés. and Kumar met up with his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa(Danneel Harris), who was going to marry kumar's ex-classmate, Colton(Eric Winter). And later on, the two went onboard the plane bound for Amsterdam. Halfway into the flight, Kumar follows Harold to the toilet and introducing to Harold, his own-made smokeless weed machine, Its called the "Bonk" but Harold wasn't interested so went off without closing the door. An old lady saw it she immediatly shouted "Terrorsit" and with Kumar shouting" O don't worry, its just a Bonk" but the others heard as a "Bomb". There is where all hell broke lose. Getting thrown in Guantanamo Bay, the two now must find a way to out and onto Amsterdam

Movie star rating of 9/10 reason being this time the sequel wasn't as hilarious as the first one. But all in all it was still damn funny with the cast of John Cho and Kal Penn, with one being a korean and one being an indian. There kind of a few racist remarks in the film. But i'm sure the director and the screenwriter didn't mean it. I mean whats funny its the racist remarks. though once again i'm not trying to be racist here

Do catch it if you'd watched "Goes to white Castle". or if you have not watch the first one yet. you can still watch. As the "Escaped from Guantanamo Bay" doesn't really relates to the first one.

TOP GUN

TOP GUN!

HOLY COMOLY!
whatever that means

The ever anticipating film ever since the 1980s to present.
serious, it way far better than Battle of Britain(1969), way more far more exciting than Apocalypse Now(1979) obviously and even better it beat Flyboys(2006)

WOO an audience rating of PG 13, seriously is all soo "OH MY GOD" all the way. I mean this film was filmed in the 80s and yet it still beats the crap out of aerial combat films of today, It totally the most best 80s film i've ever watched! I watched it twice not because i couldn't understand it but i just totally love it.

Top Gun, follows Lt. Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell(Tom Cruise) of the Airforce Navy and his RIO (Radar Intercepter Officer) Lt. Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw(Anthony Edwards) that were selected from his squadron to attend the prestiges Flight School "Top Gun" to be the best of the best in American Navy Aviation. With the many competitions going on with Maverick and Lt. Tom 'Iceman' Kazansky(Val Kilmer) and lets not forget the ever beautiful Charlotte 'Charlie' Blackwood(Kelly McGillis ).

Top Gun, a movie star rating on my scale would be 11/10!!!!!!!!

yes you all get that right, a movie way off my scale rating. Reason being, THE BEST OF THE BEST AERIAL COMBAT MOVIE EVER!!
well that not being the only reason why. Top Gun also portrays that even with the technology at that time during the 80s, even such good movie can be made without the use of CG effects, no not centre of gravity by computer graphics. Its all camera and i don't mean camera trick. Missiles shots, destruction of plane, gun tracers that were so real that you wouldn't belive that they were actually filmed with using only models

seriously.. It a highway to the danger zone

OWW!!

DRILLBIT TAYLOR

DRILLBIT TAYLOR

another film staring the famous comedy actor, Own Wilson. Yes DrillBit Taylor a viewer rating of PG13 or PG. I would say this movie is more for the teenagers. Talks about high schools, bullies and friends.

"DrillBit Taylor" is about this homeless, orphan, poor guy named Bob Taylor(Owen Wilson) who is trying to find an easy way to get money like striking lottery and stealing, in the end bumping into Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley)and Emmett(David Dorfman) who are high school freshies trying to hire a budget bodyguard to keep the bullies away from school. In the end hired Bob who fakes to be a marine spec ops. With the many teaching of Bob, the 3 of them now acquire skills from a "hobo" which in the end don't really turn out what they expected.

Final saying...
Drillbit Taylor a star rating of 7/10 for the magnificent telling of school bullies, friendship and abit of romance, Yup don't be shocked, even geeks do get the girls sometimes. The hilarious movie do however reminds me of my secondary school days.

seriously is a all fun to watch, but it could be boring at times in the movie but its all worth it..

geeks do get the girls

South Park : ImaginationLand

HAH!!

sorry about the movie poster. Since i can't find the movie poster for "Imagination Land" so i could only put the South Park Official Poster

IMAGINATIONA LAND!.. M18, course languages, violence, bloody, and a hell lot of jokes that kids who are 13 and below should not know of or listening to

South Park : Imagination Land, its a 2nd movie to the ever famous, canadian insulting(no offence here), bloody, violence and lots of course languages series, South Park. Oh yes, if you guys have watch south park before you all should know what i'm talking about.

Not concluding to the first movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. Imagination Land is another world of both Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of South park. Sets Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny and Butters on a quest to save Imagination Land, the world that humans create from our imagination which in the end kind of makes no sense like their ever normal episodes. And in the end, Stan or Kyle will say " I think i learnt something today..blah blah blah". But people watch for the sake of watching and for the sake of mature jokes. No kidding, the jokes are mostly dirty, course and matured.

For my final saying and rating.. Imagination Lands gets a 5/10. Imagination Land is i would say worst than "Bigger, Longer and Uncut" reason being, its just too short, too nonsensical, and sometimes it just makes no sense. Especially the part where it all happens in Butters Dream.

Do watch it if you just wanna pass the time and got nothing to do, or else don't thin k about it.. Its seriously like a series only longer. Especially Kenny being not in all of the scenes in the movie its just no fun watching how Kenny gets kill and live for the nest episode or movie
